About Victoria Greenhood

Picture
For thirty years, the art and craft of jewelry making has filled my life.  As a teenager, I began assembling buttons and creating jewelry.

I knew early on that I had the talent and perhaps. more importantly, the patience to fabricate jewelry. When I began working with metals and actual gems, I developed a love affair with design, color, and form. I am particularly fascinated with unusual pearls and stones. These pieces should be designed and set with a clean, technical delivery. I strive to make my designs wearable and comfortable, as well as beautiful.

I collect gems wherever I go, whether it be to India or New Mexico. I am as likely to buy stones in an antique store as I am at a trade show. I will often create a series around my latest "find," and many of the pieces you see cannot be duplicated. Although my jewelry takes on many forms it always retains its clean lines and wearability.

I make many of my pieces on a custom basis designed to fit an individual's personality and look. My greatest desire is to please the wearer of my jewelry.
