TVG0235: 14 Karat Yellow Gold, Diamond, Tanzanite, Indicolite, Rhodolite Garnet, Aquamarine, and Amethyst "Garden Fantasy" Necklace.

The 'Garden Fantasy Necklace' was made to commemorate many amazing and wonderful rides in the desert around Santa Fe with my black stallion quarter horse, Bright Request. He chose to take me on journeys to secret places immersed in the peace and the subtle beauty of the desert and bring me safely home again. I would be overwhelmed with joy when a herd of cattle or different species of wildlife were undisturbed by our passing. I could not help but notice how many wildflowers had petals shaped in variations of hearts. The necklace was constructed in my mind years before I was able to carve out a space in my life to bring it to reality. I then devoted hundreds of hours to making each petal in wax, and constructing different flowers I remembered around colorful gemstones chosen for their centers. The "Garden Fantasy Necklace" is a burst of wildflowers fitted around different gemstones, cast into 14 Karat yellow gold, washed over with 24 Karat Gold. The central flower contains a ray of sunlight expressed as a diamond. Three sections of flowers are flanked by the black stallion's sculpted head and windblown mane soldered on to a chain of repose' leaves. The necklace is meant to share my joy, both of riding and of jewelry making, with the wearer." ...Tresa Vorenberg
