Please join Tresa Vorenberg Goldsmiths in welcoming a very special artist collaboration into the gallery!  Nathan Youngblood, award winning potter from Santa Clara Pueblo, and James Kallas, noted Santa Fe goldsmith and jeweler, are formally joining our family of artists here in the gallery.  To celebrate this exciting endeavor we will be having a special Gallery Opening during Indian Market weekend.  Live music will be provided by Gary Vigil on Saturday from 4-7 and Sunday 3-6.

Meet the Artists:
Friday, August 17th, 5-6

Special Hours for Indian Market Weekend:
Friday, August 17, 10-8
Saturday, August 18, 12-7
Sunday, August 19, 12-6
Monday, August 20, 10-5

Nathan’s work is known for combining traditional and non-traditional design with traditional and non-traditional shape and form. His designs can be found in clay, glass and precious metals.

Nathan started making pottery full time in 1977. He has participated in many exhibitions, craft shows and gallery shows. In 1992, he retired from competition events, having amassed many awards and accolades for his pottery. In 1993, Nathan participated in the White House Collection of American Craft Exhibition in Washington, D.C. and again in 1995 when the Collection was displayed at the National Museum of American Art, Washington, D.C.
