About Dana Bronfman

Picture
Dana Bronfman is a fine jewelry designer best known for her “quietly bold” modern, architectural style, which balances soft, sculptural structure with circular opening spaces in varying sizes along with unexpected movement. Trained as a metalsmith at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco and as an apprentice in Santa Fe, the process of crafting each original piece influences her design. As Dana traveled globally and discovered unique jewelry in each place, she began to collect interesting pieces that commemorated her experiences and told the story of her journey.

With a background in arts education in the non-profit world, Dana aims to give back with each piece, supporting environmental causes and design-based youth empowerment programs. Dana works with master jewelers in New York City who execute her vision from reclaimed 18 karat gold, post-consumer diamonds, and ethically-sourced gemstones wherever possible.

The Dana Bronfman woman delights in adorning herself in the precious ore of the earth, but her feet are planted firmly in the city. It is her connection with the rawness of the Earth and the multi-faceted beauty of the urban environment that is reflected in her bond to her own finely curated Dana Bronfman collection. Each piece pulls forth a hidden piece of her complexity, from the strong angles taken from industrial bridges, to the layered sparkles of diamonds seen sprinkled across the night sky. Her pieces tell a story only she fully knows-strong, beautiful, and uniquely hers.

Dana Bronfman has won the prestigious Fashion Group International Rising Star Award for Fine Jewelry in 2017.  This award came as she launched her latest, one-of-a-kind pieces titled "Otherworldly Elements", as part of her signature Oculus collection. Always an adventurer, who travels for inspiration, her fine jewelry was featured at Paris Fashion Week (March 2017).
